1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name “Damage Control” and is there any meaning behind it?

We were all high school friends who came together over the love of music, our sound came as a natural blend of our drummer Eddie's post hardcore influences and mine(Ben) and Nicks pop punk influences. The name came from there as we're all big Man Overboard fans so we named our band after one of our favorite of their songs.

2. What do you want listeners to take away from your newest EP?

Our new EP may be rough but we'd like listeners to walk away with an idea of what to expect from us in the future, fast high energy pop punk songs.

3. How would you describe your music to the average listener?

We'd describe our music as pop punk with some post hardcore flair.

4. What can people expect from your live show?

People can expect high energy and to see the three of us having an absolute blast.

5. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Man Overboard, State Champs, and The Used.

6. Any crazy show stories?

We were recently playing a show with our friends in Comeback of the Year at he Webster Underground in Hartford and our vans window got shot out by a BB gun.

7. What’s your take on the current state of pop punk?

The future looks good for pop punk there's a whole new wave of pop punk bands coming up through the scene.

8. What’s the current music scene like there in Massachusetts both locally and state wide?

Locally it seems like we're the only act in town and people couldn't really give a damn about us, state wide however there does seem to be a growing music scene.

9. What’s your take on legal/illegal music downloading?

It doesn't matter how a fan gets an album as long as they're listening to it and loving it.

10. What’s next for Damage Control?

We're hoping to be going into the studio soon to record our debut EP.

11. Any shoutouts?

Nah not at the moment.
