1. How did the band come together and form? Any special meaning behind the name “LessThanThree”?

Everyone in the band has been really good friends since we were little kids and we all love to play music so it only fit that we would play music together. Well our name makes a heart <3.

2. You guys have played shows alongside I See Stars and Oh, Sleeper to name a few. Any good show stories?

One time we went to play a show at a church and we were under the impression it was a national touring band but turned out to be like 4 old guys and we played for a crowd of 50 kids and their parents. They loved it though.

3. What can people expect from your new material? When can we expect a release?

Heavier, added brutality, yet melodic. Hopefully we will be able to get in the studio sometime this fall/winter.

4. How would you describe your music to the average listener?

We are a post-hardcore metal, with powerful cleans and hard-hitting riffs.

5. What’s the music scene like there in IN both locally and state wide?

Right now the scene where we are from is dying, but there are a few up and coming bands including ourselves that we hope to help revive the scene.

6. What’s your definition of a good live show?

High energy. We all love to move around a lot on stage, and love it even more when the crowd gets involved as well.

7. What are you guys currently listening to?

Wasted Youth by For The Fallen Dreams, Challenger by Memphis May Fire, Any My Morning Jacket, anything that Kanye is involved in. Hall & Oates.

8. What’s your take on the current state of post hardcore?

A lot of bands in the bussiness are coming out with a lot of strong records lately and I think thats good for the artist and all of the fans as well.

9. What three bands would you love to tour with?

The Devil Wears Prada
Heavy Arms
Odd Future

10. What’s next for LessThanThree?

We want to take our music to the ears of anyone who will listen and tour the world doing what we love.

11. Any shoutouts?

Gibson County for keepin it real, and Mike Bohn for this awesome opportunity.
