You don't really here too much from bands coming out of Arkansas. The Wedding is from Arkansas and they're looking to put their mark on the music scene. With melodic hooks and infectious riffs, the band is a Christian alternative rock band that any fan of rock should be able to enjoy.

With that being said, this album is pretty darn good. Some might say that the album is too long and too repetitive but the album is quite enjoyable. I can see someone just sticking this on before they leave on a road trip and you can really get lost in this and rock out to it.

The first song is just an intro track but the second song "Say Your Prayers" sets the tone for the entire album. The lead singer has a very City Sleeps singing style to him and those who aren't familiar with that band, be sure to check them out too. The song "I-540" is a very low key piano laden song that picks up steam and becomes formulaic as it becomes a little hard as the song goes on. The song really isn't as good as maybe it should've been.

"It's Time To Rock On" brings you back to the rock and pretty much goes where the song explains. The song "Rebound" is the best and most catchiest song on the album. The song will get stuck in your head for days and you won't want to stop listening to it. It's THAT good.

Verdict:
If you're a fan of mainstream rock, check out this album. You won't be disappointed. Some would say the album is too long (14 songs) but once you start listening to the album, it doesn't even seem like that long.

Sounds like:
City Sleeps, Switchfoot

Standout Tracks-
"Say Your Prayers"
"Rebound"
"Schizophrenia"

Parkway Drive, yet another Aussie group that knows how to rock. The album is produced by Adam from Killswitch engage and just like his previous produced album by All That Remains, this album looks to catch the ears of metalheads everywhere.

All the songs on this album will grab you by the neck and not let you go until it's all over. Don't listen if you're expecting clean song melodies and the cliche metalcore. This is straight up in your face metal that is very reminiscent of the American band As I Lay Dying. Well how As I Lay Dying used to be anyways.

Verdict:
When it's produced from Adam from Killswitch, you know it's gonna be something special. They might not be inventing the genre but they're making a dent in it. They will be destroying stages on the Warped Tour this summer. Be sure to check them out if you're into metal.

Sounds like:
As I Lay Dying, All That Remains

Standout Tracks-
"Pandora"
"Romance Is Dead"
"Mutiny"

As you can see, this is a mashup cd full of emo/emocore artists. On paper, it might sound like a fresh idea, but it's very hit or miss. It all depends on the viewers take on the selection of songs mixed together.

The album starts off a little slow with mashups of Taking Back Sunday and Senses Fail. The next song between The Get Up Kids and Thursday isn't much better. The third song between Underoath and Mewithoutyou is when the CD starts to get rolling. Any fan of Underoath should be rockin this song. The song is very catchy and very groovy.

Some of the songs like the mashup of Thrice and Akaline Trio might put some people to sleep. The next song is quite interesting. It's A Static Lullaby and My Chemical Romance, the song goes on and is very good but then an element of hip hop comes in the form of Triane. Why there needed to be a hip hop element is something I probably won't ever understand.

Most of the songs on the album are the most popular songs by the artists. That's a good thing in terms that it will appeal to everyone and not just a diehard fan of the artist. Some combinations are just bad like Funeral For A Friend and Saves The Day sounds more like a techno song than anything. The song with Norma Jean and Everytime I Die is just chaotic just like the bands themselves. Ther song with Armor For Sleep and Hopesfall will make anyone dose off as well.

Verdict:
If you like emo or emocore at all you probably enjoy a few of these bands, check out this album if you do. There's gonna be at least a couple songs you will enjoy very much. It's at a limited pressing at 3000 but I'm sure you can download it at your local blogger.

Sounds like:
Emo bands smashed together

Standout Tracks-
"Dangerous Business Since 1979"
"Destroy All Vampires"
"Lolita's Medicine"
"A Therody For A Grand"
